COSMETICS HERBERA more sustainable than ever

The last few months at Herbera have been intense. We have worked hard to eliminate all remaining plastic from our brand and minimize our carbon footprint as much as possible. In addition, our boxes, labels, brand image, and some formulas have also changed. We wanted to renew our commitment to life in all its forms, and we have achieved it! If you haven't yet heard about everything new at Herbera, here is the update:

NEW PACKAGING

From now on, our entire line is packaged in violet glass, which, in addition to minimizing our environmental impact, prolongs the life of our formulas thanks to its biophotonic technology.

Why violet glass?

Choosing the container that would stay with us was very important. We were looking for the most sustainable option that would also care for and respect our formulations in the best way possible.
We wanted it to be the material that is most easily recycled or reused, and therefore the least polluting. That is why we were clear that we would become 100% plastic-free. Among the range of possibilities for types of glass, VIOLET GLASS is the best option due to its high quality and advanced technology. For us, it is paramount that the product reaches you with its properties and fragrances intact, and for that, the best thing to do was to bet on the biophotonic technology of violetglass.
'Bio' means life in Greek, and 'photon' means light. According to biophotonic research, measuring the biophotonic production of a food or cosmetic is a very precise measure of its quality and vitality.
The biophotonic technology of violetglass acts as a barrier, preventing the loss of biophotons from the product stored inside, ensuring that the smell, color, and bioenergy of our formulas are preserved for longer. It also filters out the most harmful rays of the visible light spectrum and allows portions of UVA and infrared light waves to enter, thereby also prolonging the life of our formulas.
A great effort on our part that makes us feel very comfortable with ourselves.

PEFC-certified boxes and labels

In addition, we have included boxes made of recycled cardboard certified by PEFC in all our products, which guarantees that it comes from a certified forest that is managed in accordance with the strictest environmental, social, and economic requirements. A forest that will be preserved for future generations.

NEW IMAGE, NEW NAMES, AND MORE COMPLETE FORMULAS.

But we haven't just invested in sustainability; we have also been researching, formulating, developing new products, and even making some improvements to two of our moisturizers. Don't worry, because everything you have always looked for in Herbera is still here, even if they have changed in appearance and name. So you don't get lost, here is a who's who of our moisturizers:

1. Argan and avocado facial fluid. We have increased its anti-aging action with medium and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, a step we felt was necessary to round out a formulation that has always been a success for drier skin; now, the power of hyaluronic acid makes this moisturizer literally invincible. Take note of its new name: NUTRITIVE THERAPY

2. Hyaluronic acid, pomegranate, and grape facial fluid. Your usual anti-aging cream will also have a slight change. Some of you had asked us for it. Therefore, after many tests, we have reformulated its aroma, replacing the geranium essential oil with a 100% natural and organic fragrance that you will fall in love with. Its name is now: HYALURONIC THERAPY.

3. Burdock and black cumin facial fluid, with its new packaging, also debuts a name that alludes to its wonderful properties: HYDRA-BALANCE THERAPY

4. Finally, the rosehip and calendula facial fluid remains at Herbera with exactly the same formulation that has calmed so many sensitive skins, thanks above all to the probiotics that manage to balance your skin microbiome. For this reason, its new name could be none other than: PROBIOTIC THERAPY

The bio-serums, eye contours, and body line continue with their names and formulas intact; only the packaging has changed. The cleansing line is about to have new members, but we'll tell you about that in the next post…
