These prestigious awards, known as the “Oscars” of beauty, were created in 2009 by Fiona Klonarides, a beauty journalist and advocate for a sustainable lifestyle. These awards grew rapidly and organically to become the UK's leading independent natural beauty awards before going global in 2017.

Today, The Beauty Shortlist Awards (BSL) are recognized worldwide for their ethical approach, impartiality, and transparency, as they are free of advertising and sponsorships and have no ties to any organization or brand.
