We are now certified cosmetics!

Since our inception, if there is one thing we at Herbera are proud of, it is doing things step-by-step, with precision, safety, and a lot of love. That is why, when we began this adventure, we were clear that we wanted to be producers and distributors of our own cosmetics, that ethics and effectiveness would be the priority in our manufacturing process, and that, to prove it to the world, we had to become certified organic cosmetics. That step has arrived; today we can proudly announce that Herbera is certified by the most prestigious seal in Europe: BIOINSPECTA.

The Vida Sana Association has as one of its main objectives the promotion of responsible consumption. Cosmetic and personal care products play a central role in people's daily lives. Therefore, it is important to promote the use of those whose composition and production are respectful of the environment and human health. Bio.inspecta is the Swiss entity responsible for the certification. It was created in 1983 and currently enjoys great prestige and recognition internationally. Cosmetics certified through Bio.inspecta under the BioVidaSana standard meet all the requirements for natural and organic cosmetics:

• It is designed to achieve the greatest possible use of certified organic and/or simple natural ingredients.
• The use of chemical ingredients is minimized, allowing only those that do not pose a risk to health or the environment, and provided there is no natural alternative.
• It contains no genetically modified ingredients or nanoparticles.
• No ingredient has been irradiated.
• Cosmetics are not tested on animals, nor are any of the ingredients used to manufacture them.
• Methods for obtaining ingredients are limited to physical, mechanical, thermal, and ecological methods.
• Their production must not pollute or harm the environment.
• The ingredients of the certified products, as well as the production system of the manufacturing companies, are rigorously reviewed.

But…what is an organic product? It is a product created with a system characterized by maintaining and improving the health of soils, ecosystems, and people. It is based fundamentally on respect for biological processes, avoiding the use of fertilizers or pesticides that have adverse effects.

Once the verification was carried out in our laboratory by the inspectors from BioVidaSana and every step, every ingredient, and every supplier of Herbera was carefully reviewed, they gave us the good news that Herbera had become part of the family of cosmetics certified by Bioinspecta. And to celebrate, we have decided to participate in Biocultura, the best fair for natural and organic products in our country.

So from November 9th to 12th, we will be in Hall 10 of Ifema at stand 533E, showcasing our hard work, our products, and our new developments, and above all, learning from everyone who has embarked on this adventure of changing the world through the little things.
